The classic story of a love so strong but forbidden between a young woman and a man.
The story of William a common peasant from England and Adriana heir to the Spanish throne.
Adriana and William had been best friends since they were small kids. They shared everything including the deepest and strongest love for each-other; but their love was strongly opposed and oppressed by both sides.
Prologue:
Adriana walked to the edge of the ship and looked out to sea. Her parents and her had been at sea for a day and a half, and she was lonely. Adriana was the only child of the king and queen of Spain; but not only was she the heir to the throne, she was also the last of a dying race.
Adriana was what is called in Spanish 'La vida salvador', which literally means the life savior; the race was called this because they could feel and take the pain of whichever person upon themselves, which evidently made them very useful in battle times!
The defining characteristics of them were; they tended to have eyes that would change color depending on their emotions and feelings, they bonded to one person for life, they were great at calming frightened and or angry people including the situations that they were in, generally silent and reserved unless they feel safe or at peace, tend to avoid confrontation, aloof and adventurous personalities, drawn to people in need (hence the name), entrancing voice, and they always attracted attention no matter where they were.
At only ten years of age Adriana was very adventurous and attracted trouble wherever she went. Her parents never let her too far out of their sight for fear of losing her to spies of the enemy, which would be a double loss on their part.
Adriana gazed into the mist and started to softly sing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GXua6gD4Hc
Meanwhile in England, twelve year old William was running deliveries for his father who was the blacksmith, when he heard Adriana's entrancing melody drifting through the wind.
Young William thought it was the voice of an Angel. Something about seemed to call him and draw him to it and when he looked around and he could see other men feeling the same thing, but then the entrancing melody vanished and he found himself on the beach with waves overlapping his his feet.
The Spanish Pearl arrived later that afternoon which caused all of England to shiver.
King Alejandro and Queen Marisol walked side by side to the side of the ship and down the ramp onto the royal dock. "Vamos Princesa," one of the servants called to Adriana!
Adriana walked with poise to the ramp with the wind blowing her gunmetal blue hair. All of the English spectators were speechless to the beauty of this young child, as she descended the ramp and entered the royal carriage with her parents.
